Butter Milk Biscuits
Ingredients
- 1 lb flour
- 2 oz butter
- 2 heaped tsp baking powder
- enough milk to form a dough
Method
- 1 Rub the butter into the flour lightly.
- 2 Add the baking powder and mix with enough milk to form a dough.
- 3 Shape into small rolls as quickly as possible.
- 4 Brush with a little milk to glaze.
- 5 Bake in a quick oven (425°F) for a few minutes.
