Butter Glazed Carrots
Ingredients
- 2 bunches French carrots, cleaned and trimmed
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 8 lumps sugar
Method
- 1 Place the cleaned carrots in a saucepan with salt, pepper, 3/4 cup water, butter, and sugar.
- 2 Cover the pan and boil for 30 minutes.
- 3 Remove the lid and simmer until the water has evaporated, leaving only the butter.
