Butter Glazed Carrots And Peas
Ingredients
- young, tender carrots
- green peas
- salt
- pepper
- butter
- vegetable sauce or white sauce (optional)
Method
- 1 Clean, scrape, and dice carrots to the size of the peas. Shell an equal quantity of green peas.
- 2 Place both vegetables in boiling salted water. Cook carrots first if needed, then add peas, until both are tender.
- 3 Drain the water. Season with salt and pepper, then dress with butter or a vegetable/white sauce.
- 4 Heat thoroughly and serve.
