Butter Glazed Carrots And Peas

Ingredients

  • young, tender carrots
  • green peas
  • salt
  • pepper
  • butter
  • vegetable sauce or white sauce (optional)

Method

  1. 1 Clean, scrape, and dice carrots to the size of the peas. Shell an equal quantity of green peas.
  2. 2 Place both vegetables in boiling salted water. Cook carrots first if needed, then add peas, until both are tender.
  3. 3 Drain the water. Season with salt and pepper, then dress with butter or a vegetable/white sauce.
  4. 4 Heat thoroughly and serve.
