Butter Fried Crullers With Powdered Sugar
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 cups flour
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 6 tablespoons melted butter
- 6 tablespoons sugar
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Method
- 1 Whisk eggs and salt, then mix in flour, milk, melted butter, and sugar to form a smooth batter.
- 2 Roll the dough out to half-inch thickness on a floured surface and cut into rings using a small cake cutter.
- 3 Fry the crullers in very hot lard or oil until golden brown on both sides.
- 4 Drain on brown paper and sprinkle generously with powdered sugar before serving.
