Butter Fried Crêpes
Ingredients
- 3 large eggs
- 4.5 oz all-purpose flour
- Milk, as needed
- Butter, for frying
- Loaf sugar, grated (optional)
Method
- 1 Beat 3 eggs with 4.5 oz flour and a little milk until smooth.
- 2 Gradually add milk to create a batter as thick as good cream.
- 3 Heat a frying pan and melt a walnut-sized pat of butter in it.
- 4 Pour in batter to cover the bottom, cooking to the thickness of half a crown.
- 5 Serve plain or sprinkle with grated sugar.
