Butter Fried Battered Potato Slices
Ingredients
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp brandy
- salt
- flour or grated bread
- large cold potatoes, sliced
- butter for frying
Method
- 1 Whisk egg yolks, salt, oil, and brandy. Add flour or grated bread until the batter thickens.
- 2 Heat butter in a pan over medium heat.
- 3 Dip potato slices into the batter, allowing excess to drip off.
- 4 Fry the battered slices in the butter until golden brown on both sides.
