Butter Currant Drop Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 pint flour
- 1 cup currants
- ½ cup sweet milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Method
- 1 Cream butter and sugar, then beat in eggs.
- 2 Mix in flour, currants, milk, and baking powder.
- 3 Drop spoonfuls onto greased pans.
- 4 Bake in a hot oven (425°F) for 10 minutes.
