Butter Chocolate Fudge With Cinnamon
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 squares chocolate
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Method
- 1 Melt butter in a granite saucepan over heat.
- 2 Add sugar and milk, then heat to boiling point.
- 3 Add chocolate and stir constantly until melted.
- 4 Boil for 13 minutes, then remove from heat.
- 5 Stir in vanilla and beat until creamy and slightly sugared at edges.
- 6 Pour into a buttered pan, cool slightly, and cut into squares.
