Butter Basted Broiled Steak
Ingredients
- 1 beef steak (tender cut, 1 inch thick)
- butter
- salt
- pepper
- water
Method
- 1 Prepare a dish with butter, salt, pepper, and a little water.
- 2 Broil the steak gently over good coals, covering it with a plate.
- 3 When turning the steak, dip it into the butter mixture to baste.
- 4 Transfer to a warm dish and pour remaining basting juices and extra butter over the top.
