Butter Baked Mushrooms
Ingredients
- mushrooms
- butter
- pepper
- salt
Method
- 1 Peel mushrooms, rinse to remove grit, and cut off stalk ends.
- 2 Place mushrooms on a greased baking tin with stalks facing up.
- 3 Top each mushroom with small bits of butter, pepper, and salt.
- 4 Cover with buttered paper and bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for 10-20 minutes until tender.
- 5 Serve on a hot dish, pouring the pan gravy over them.
