Butter Baked Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • butter
  • pepper
  • salt

Method

  1. 1 Peel mushrooms, rinse to remove grit, and cut off stalk ends.
  2. 2 Place mushrooms on a greased baking tin with stalks facing up.
  3. 3 Top each mushroom with small bits of butter, pepper, and salt.
  4. 4 Cover with buttered paper and bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for 10-20 minutes until tender.
  5. 5 Serve on a hot dish, pouring the pan gravy over them.
