Butter And Milk Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients
- 2 lbs potatoes, boiled and peeled
- ½ cup milk
- ¼ lb butter
- salt to taste
Method
- 1 Mash the boiled, peeled potatoes in a mortar or on a clean board with a broad knife.
- 2 Transfer the mashed potatoes to a stewpan.
- 3 Add the milk, butter, and salt.
- 4 Heat over the fire, stirring constantly until the butter is fully melted.
- 5 Serve immediately in your preferred shape, ensuring they do not burn.
