Buckwheat And Wheat Griddle Cakes
Ingredients
- 1 cup buckwheat flour
- 1 cup wheat flour
- 1 tsp salt
- Warm water as needed
- 1 cup yeast
- Cold water as needed
- 1 tsp baking soda (soda)
- Butter for serving
Method
- 1 Mix buckwheat flour, wheat flour, and salt in a bowl.
- 2 Add warm water and yeast to form a thick batter; beat well.
- 3 Let rise near heat. If too light, add cold water to top.
- 4 If sour, dissolve baking soda in hot water and stir in.
- 5 Thin batter with warm water, then cook on a griddle.
- 6 Serve hot with butter.
