Brown Sugar Praline Candies
Ingredients
- 3 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup cream
- 1 cup nuts, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Method
- 1 In a heavy saucepan, combine brown sugar and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
- 2 Add cream and continue to boil, stirring constantly, until the mixture reaches the soft-ball stage (235°F to 240°F).
- 3 Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and chopped nuts.
- 4 Drop spoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet and allow to cool completely before serving.
