Brown Sugar Penuche Fudge
Ingredients
- 2 cups light brown sugar
- 1/3 cup milk or cream
- 1 tablespoon butter
- ¾ cup chopped nuts
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Method
- 1 Combine sugar, milk, and butter in a saucepan. Boil with minimal stirring until the mixture forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water.
- 2 Remove from heat. Stir in nuts and vanilla until the mixture becomes creamy.
- 3 Pour immediately into greased tins and let set before cutting.
