Brown Sugar Penuche Fudge

Ingredients

  • 2 cups light brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup milk or cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ¾ cup chopped nuts
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

  1. 1 Combine sugar, milk, and butter in a saucepan. Boil with minimal stirring until the mixture forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water.
  2. 2 Remove from heat. Stir in nuts and vanilla until the mixture becomes creamy.
  3. 3 Pour immediately into greased tins and let set before cutting.
