Brown Sugar Cranberry Glazed Ham
Ingredients
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 2 cups cranberry juice cocktail
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/4 cup seedless raisins
- 2 ham slices, 1-inch thick
Method
- 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, cornstarch, and allspice.
- 2 Gradually stir in cranberry juice, lemon juice, and raisins. Cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens and comes to a boil.
- 3 Place one ham slice in a greased baking dish. Pour half the sauce over it, then top with the second ham slice.
- 4 Pour remaining sauce over the top. Cover and bake for 45 minutes.
