Brown Sugar Candied Almonds
Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1 tbsp water
Method
- 1 Combine brown sugar and a small amount of water in a saucepan. Stir over heat until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- 2 Bring the mixture to a boil and let it cook for one minute.
- 3 Add the almonds and stir continuously over the heat until the sugar granulates and turns lightly brown.
- 4 Immediately pour the almonds onto a surface and separate them while warm to prevent clumping.
