Brown Butter Vegetable Stew
Ingredients
- Assorted vegetables (excluding cabbage)
- Butter
- Water
- Flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- French rolls (optional)
Method
- 1 Chop vegetables small and fry in butter until brown.
- 2 Add water and thicken with a mixture of flour and butter.
- 3 Stew gently for three hours, seasoning to taste.
