Brown Butter Sweet Potatoes
Ingredients
- sweet potatoes
- pepper
- salt
- sugar
- butter
Method
- 1 Split sweet potatoes lengthwise and steam or boil until nearly done. Drain.
- 2 Place in a baking dish flat side down. Season with pepper, salt, and sugar.
- 3 Dot with butter and bake in a moderate oven (350°F) until soft and brown, basting with butter.
- 4 Serve in the skins.
