  • 1 lb beef sausages (preferably chipolata)
  • 1 lb brown pippin apples
  • Butter

Method

  1. 1 Fry sausages lightly in butter until browned.
  2. 2 Remove sausages and keep warm.
  3. 3 Peel and core apples, cutting them into ¼-inch thick rounds.
  4. 4 Simmer apple rounds in the sausage drippings with added butter until tender but holding shape.
