Brown Butter Apple Sauce
Ingredients
- apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- water
- butter
- sugar to taste
Method
- 1 Place sliced apples in a saucepan with just enough water to prevent burning.
- 2 Cover tightly and cook over very low heat until apples reduce to a pulp.
- 3 Stir in a lump of butter and sugar to taste, beating well until combined.
- 4 Serve warm in a bowl.
