Brown Beef And Bean Stew
Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak, cut into 1-inch blocks
- Flour for coating
- Hot fat for frying
- 6 onions, chopped fine
- 3 red pimentoes, chopped fine
- 1 cup tomatoes
- 1 cup water
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup cooked beans
Method
- 1 Cut flank steak into 1-inch blocks, roll in flour, and brown quickly in hot fat.
- 2 Add chopped onions, red pimentoes, tomatoes, and water. Cook slowly until meat is tender.
- 3 Season with salt and paprika, then stir in cooked beans. Heat to boiling point and serve.
