Brothy Oyster Stew With Crackers
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup oyster juice
- 2 tbsp butter
- salt and pepper to taste
- small crackers for serving
- celery for serving
Method
- 1 Boil 1 cup milk and 1 cup oyster juice in a saucepan, skimming off any scum that forms.
- 2 Add the oysters, 2 tbsp butter, salt, and pepper to the boiling liquid.
- 3 Cook until the edges of the oysters curl, indicating they are done.
- 4 Serve immediately with small crackers and celery on the side.
