Broiled Venison Steaks With Breadcrumbs
Ingredients
- venison loin or chine, cut into ½-inch thick slices
- salt
- breadcrumbs
- gravy or vinegar and pepper for serving
Method
- 1 Cut the fattest part of the venison into thick slices, about ½ inch thick.
- 2 Season the slices with salt and broil them over warm embers until cooked.
- 3 Soak the cooked meat, then coat it with breadcrumbs.
- 4 Serve immediately with gravy, or alternatively with vinegar and pepper.
