Broiled Tilapia Tacos With Slaw

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped red onion
  • 1 cup chopped cilantro
  • 4 cups packaged coleslaw mix
  • 8 4-ounce tilapia fillets (or any white fish)
  • 1 small corn tortilla
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder (more or less to taste)

Method

  1. 1 Chop onion and cilantro. Mix with coleslaw mix in a bowl and set aside.
  2. 2 Sprinkle fish fillets with chili powder. Place on a cooking spray-coated baking sheet.
  3. 3 Broil fish 6 inches from heat for 3-4 minutes until it flakes easily with a fork.
  4. 4 Heat tortillas on an oiled skillet or in the microwave until softened and hot.
  5. 5 Fill tortillas with fish and slaw mixture. Fold in half and serve with salsa and citrus.
