Broiled Shad With Melted Butter
Ingredients
- 1 shad
- salt
- pepper
- melted butter
Method
- 1 Separate one side of the shad from the backbone so it lies open. Wash clean and dry thoroughly with a cloth.
- 2 Sprinkle salt and pepper over the fish. Let it stand until ready to broil.
- 3 Heat a gridiron until hot and grease it well. Broil the shad nicely.
- 4 Pour melted butter over the cooked fish and serve immediately.
