Broiled Potato Slices With Butter

Method
- 1 Peel potatoes and cut lengthwise into 1/4-inch thick slices.
- 2 Broil slices over moderate heat (350°F) until tender, flipping once.
- 3 Spread each slice with butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- 4 Serve very hot.
