Broiled Pork Chops With Tomato Gravy
Ingredients
- 3 lbs pork chops
- 1/4 lb pork pieces
- 3 onions
- 6-8 tomatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tsp chili pepper (optional)
- 1 tbsp flour
Method
- 1 Fry pork pieces and chopped onions in a skillet until browned.
- 2 Add peeled, chopped tomatoes, garlic, and chili pepper. Stir and cook until tomatoes break down.
- 3 Strain the sauce to remove solids. Return liquid to pan and thicken with flour.
- 4 Broil pork chops until cooked through. Place on a hot platter and pour the hot tomato sauce over them.
