Broiled Oysters With Orange Butter
Ingredients
- large oysters
- melted butter
- orange juice
- pepper
Method
- 1 Place oysters on a gridiron with heads down. Broil dry until brown and hard.
- 2 Place two or three oysters in a shell with melted butter. Return to gridiron and broil until finely stewed.
- 3 Transfer to a plate. Fill with melted butter or butter beaten with orange juice.
- 4 Season lightly with pepper and serve hot.
