Broiled Mutton Chops With Mushroom Gravy

Ingredients

  • rack of mutton, cut into chops
  • 2 tbsp boiling water
  • 1 tbsp mushroom catsup
  • 1 tsp butter
  • salt to taste
  • fresh grated horseradish for garnish

Method

  1. 1 Cut the rack of mutton into chops and broil them until cooked to your liking.
  2. 2 While chops broil, combine boiling water, mushroom catsup, butter, and salt in a small saucepan.
  3. 3 Stir the mixture over low heat until the butter is fully melted and the sauce is smooth.
  4. 4 Place the broiled chops on a serving dish and pour the hot gravy over them.
  5. 5 Garnish with freshly scraped horseradish and serve immediately.
