Broiled Mutton Chops With Mushroom Gravy
Ingredients
- rack of mutton, cut into chops
- 2 tbsp boiling water
- 1 tbsp mushroom catsup
- 1 tsp butter
- salt to taste
- fresh grated horseradish for garnish
Method
- 1 Cut the rack of mutton into chops and broil them until cooked to your liking.
- 2 While chops broil, combine boiling water, mushroom catsup, butter, and salt in a small saucepan.
- 3 Stir the mixture over low heat until the butter is fully melted and the sauce is smooth.
- 4 Place the broiled chops on a serving dish and pour the hot gravy over them.
- 5 Garnish with freshly scraped horseradish and serve immediately.
