Broiled Mackerel

Ingredients

  • 2 medium or 3 small mackerel
  • warm water
  • boiling water

Method

  1. 1 Soak mackerel in warm water overnight to remove excess salt. Drain and rinse.
  2. 2 Place fish in a baking pan. Broil or bake in a hot oven (425°F) for 10-15 minutes, basting every 4 minutes with boiling water.
  3. 3 Transfer to a hot platter and serve immediately.
