Broiled Lobster With Chili Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 live lobster
- salad oil
- melted butter
- chili sauce
- tomato sauce
Method
- 1 Split the live lobster in half lengthwise, laying it on its back without cutting through the back shell.
- 2 Remove the entrails and the vein running through the tail, then wash the lobster well.
- 3 Brush the lobster with salad oil, place it shell-side up in a broiler, and cook for 15 minutes.
- 4 Turn the lobster flesh-side up, baste with salad oil or melted butter, and cook for 12 minutes.
- 5 Remove from heat and serve immediately with melted butter, chili sauce, or tomato sauce.
