Broiled Fish With Parsley Butter
Ingredients
- fish (small or large)
- melted shortening
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- lemon slices for garnish
- parsley sprigs for garnish
Method
- 1 Cleanse the fish. Leave small fish whole and split large fish.
- 2 Brush the fish with melted shortening.
- 3 Broil small fish for 10 minutes. Broil large fish for 30-45 minutes (10 minutes per pound).
- 4 Mix butter, chopped parsley, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice.
- 5 Transfer fish to a hot platter, spread with the butter mixture, and garnish with lemon slices and parsley.
