Broiled Chicken With Giblet Gravy

Method
- 1 Split the chickens down the back and season them.
- 2 Place on a gridiron over clear coals and cover with a plate to cook faster.
- 3 Baste with melted butter, being careful not to let them burn.
- 4 Boil giblets in water, chop fine, and make a gravy with butter and seasoning.
- 5 Pour gravy into a dish and place the broiled chickens on top.
