Broiled Cheese Macaroni
Ingredients
- 2 ounces macaroni
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup grated cheese
- 2 tablespoons cream
Method
- 1 Boil macaroni in plenty of water for 90 minutes, then drain through a sieve.
- 2 In a saucepan, combine the drained macaroni with butter, salt, pepper, and half a cup of grated cheese.
- 3 Add two tablespoons of cream and stew gently over heat until well combined.
- 4 Transfer to a serving dish, sprinkle with remaining grated cheese, and brown under a broiler.
