Breaded Veal Schnitzel With Lemon
Ingredients
- 2 lbs veal steak
- 1 egg, beaten
- salt
- bread crumbs
- lemon juice
- pepper
- hot fat for frying
Method
- 1 Cut veal into ½-inch thick serving portions and season with salt and pepper.
- 2 Dip pieces in bread crumbs, then beaten egg, and again in bread crumbs.
- 3 Let stand in the refrigerator for a while before cooking.
- 4 Brown in hot fat on both sides, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes.
- 5 Sprinkle with lemon juice before serving.
