Breaded Sautéed Puffballs

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp butter or oil
  • puffballs, sliced ½ inch thick
  • salt and pepper
  • egg
  • bread crumbs

Method

  1. 1 Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. 2 Season puffball slices with salt and pepper.
  3. 3 Dip slices in beaten egg, then coat with bread crumbs.
  4. 4 Sauté in the skillet until golden brown on both sides.
