Breaded Ham And Bacon
Ingredients
- cold boiled ham, sliced thick
- pepper
- olive oil
- mustard
- egg
- cracker crumbs
- fat bacon or pork slices
- hard-boiled eggs, sliced
Method
- 1 Mix pepper, olive oil, and mustard. Coat ham slices in the mixture, then dip in beaten egg and roll in cracker crumbs. Chill briefly.
- 2 Fry bacon or pork slices in a skillet until crisp. Remove meat, leaving the rendered fat in the pan.
- 3 Add breaded ham slices to the hot fat. Fry until the bottom is brown, then turn and cook the other side.
- 4 Serve hot, garnished with slices of hard-boiled egg placed on each portion of ham.
