Breaded Fried Flounder Rolls
Ingredients
- flounder fillets
- salt and pepper
- butter
- egg
- bread crumbs
- hot fat for frying
- remoulade, Tartare, or tomato sauce for serving
Method
- 1 Marinate flounder fillets or dredge with salt and pepper, then dip into butter.
- 2 Roll fillets from the broad end and fasten with a wooden toothpick.
- 3 Coat fillets in egg and bread crumbs.
- 4 Fry in hot fat for seven minutes, cooking only four at a time to maintain oil temperature.
- 5 Remove toothpicks and serve with remoulade, Tartare, or tomato sauce.
