Breaded Fried Fish Fillets
Ingredients
- Fish fillets (from whole fish)
- 3 tbsp lemon juice or vinegar
- 2 tbsp salad oil
- 2 tbsp grated onion
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp paprika
- Flour for dredging
- Beaten egg
- Fine breadcrumbs
- Hot fat for frying
Method
- 1 Marinate fish fillets for one hour in lemon juice, salad oil, grated onion, salt, and paprika.
- 2 Remove fillets from marinade and roll lightly in flour.
- 3 Dip floured fillets into beaten egg, then coat thoroughly in fine breadcrumbs.
- 4 Fry in hot fat until golden brown on both sides.
