Breaded Fried Fish Fillets

Ingredients

  • Fish fillets (from whole fish)
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice or vinegar
  • 2 tbsp salad oil
  • 2 tbsp grated onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Flour for dredging
  • Beaten egg
  • Fine breadcrumbs
  • Hot fat for frying

Method

  1. 1 Marinate fish fillets for one hour in lemon juice, salad oil, grated onion, salt, and paprika.
  2. 2 Remove fillets from marinade and roll lightly in flour.
  3. 3 Dip floured fillets into beaten egg, then coat thoroughly in fine breadcrumbs.
  4. 4 Fry in hot fat until golden brown on both sides.
