Breaded Fried Cod Fillets With Tartare Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 slices cod or other sliced fish
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Flour for dredging
- 1 egg, beaten
- Fine bread crumbs
- Hot fat for frying
- Tartare sauce for serving
Method
- 1 Cut the fish slices into small fillets and season with salt and pepper.
- 2 Roll the fillets in flour, then dip in beaten egg, and finally coat in fine bread crumbs.
- 3 Fry the coated fillets in hot fat until golden brown on all sides.
- 4 Serve immediately with tartare sauce.
