Breaded Broiled Weakfish Fillets
Ingredients
- 1 weakfish (approx. 3 lbs)
- Salt and pepper
- Melted butter
- Breadcrumbs
- Tartare sauce
Method
- 1 Clean the fish by removing the head and tail. Split it through the back and remove the bones to create fillets.
- 2 Cut the fillets into four or six portions. Season the pieces generously with salt and pepper.
- 3 Dip each piece into melted butter, then roll in breadcrumbs to coat evenly.
- 4 Broil the fish on both sides until cooked through and golden. Serve immediately with tartare sauce.
