Breaded Broiled Weakfish Fillets

Ingredients

  • 1 weakfish (approx. 3 lbs)
  • Salt and pepper
  • Melted butter
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Tartare sauce

Method

  1. 1 Clean the fish by removing the head and tail. Split it through the back and remove the bones to create fillets.
  2. 2 Cut the fillets into four or six portions. Season the pieces generously with salt and pepper.
  3. 3 Dip each piece into melted butter, then roll in breadcrumbs to coat evenly.
  4. 4 Broil the fish on both sides until cooked through and golden. Serve immediately with tartare sauce.
