Bread Pudding With Sultanas And Almonds
Ingredients
- 3 oz bread
- 1 oz sultanas
- 1/2 dozen sweet almonds, chopped fine
- 1 well-beaten egg
- Cinnamon and sugar to taste
- 1/2 oz butter
- A little milk
Method
- 1 Soak the bread in milk, then squeeze out the surplus liquid with a spoon.
- 2 Mix the bread, sultanas, chopped almonds, egg, cinnamon, sugar, and butter together.
- 3 Pour the mixture into a buttered pie dish.
- 4 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for 30 to 45 minutes.
