Bread Pudding With Lemon Sauce
Ingredients
- 3 stale buns
- 1 1/2 pints milk
- 3 eggs
- 2 oz sugar
Method
- 1 Cut the buns into thin slices and place them in a baking dish.
- 2 Beat the eggs well, then mix in the milk and sugar.
- 3 Pour the egg mixture over the buns and cover with a plate.
- 4 Let stand for 2 hours to absorb the liquid.
- 5 Bake at 350°F for 1 hour or steam for 1.5 hours.
- 6 Serve warm with lemon sauce.
