Bread Crusted Roasted Tomatoes
Ingredients
- tomatoes
- butter or oil
- salt
- pepper
- breadcrumbs
- bread slices
Method
- 1 Peel tomatoes, cut off the top, and remove a little pulp.
- 2 Add butter or oil inside, then season with salt and pepper.
- 3 Replace the top, sprinkle with breadcrumbs, pepper, and salt.
- 4 Place each tomato on a slice of bread, add a bit more butter or oil on top.
- 5 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for 15 to 20 minutes.
