Bread Crusted Buttered Cauliflower
Ingredients
- 2 cauliflowers
- salted water
- salt and pepper
- 1 cup butter
- fresh breadcrumbs
Method
- 1 Boil two cauliflowers in salted water until tender, then drain.
- 2 Separate the cauliflower into flowerets and arrange them in a serving dish.
- 3 Season the cauliflower with salt and pepper to taste.
- 4 Heat a cupful of butter in a frying pan without browning, then skim.
- 5 Add enough fresh breadcrumbs to the butter to make a smooth thin paste.
- 6 Spread the butter-breadcrumb mixture over the cauliflower and serve.
