Ingredients

  • 1 whole fish, cleaned
  • 1 tbsp butter or dripping
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp mushroom ketchup
  • 1 tbsp chopped onions
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 cup bread crumbs

Method

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a baking dish with butter or dripping.
  2. 2 Place the whole fish in the dish. Add vinegar, water, and mushroom ketchup.
  3. 3 Season with chopped onions and parsley. Sprinkle bread crumbs evenly over the top.
  4. 4 Bake in the preheated oven until the fish is cooked through and crumbs are golden.
