Bread Batter Pancakes
Ingredients
- 2 cups stale bread, soaked and squeezed dry
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ cup flour
- Milk, as needed
- 1 tsp baking powder
Method
- 1 Soak stale bread in hot water until moistened, then press out excess water.
- 2 In a bowl, combine the softened bread, beaten eggs, salt, and flour.
- 3 Add enough milk to create a thin, smooth batter.
- 4 Stir in baking powder just before cooking.
- 5 Cook on a hot griddle until golden brown on both sides.
