  • thick slices of bread
  • anchovies, boned
  • grated cheese
  • chopped parsley
  • melted butter

Method

  1. 1 Toast thick slices of bread slightly.
  2. 2 Place half an anchovy on each toast.
  3. 3 Cover with a mixture of grated cheese and chopped parsley.
  4. 4 Pour melted butter over the top.
  5. 5 Brown under a salamander or broiler until golden.
