Brandy Nutmeg Sour Cream Pound Cake

Ingredients

• 4 cups flour
• 3 cups sugar
• 1 cup melted butter
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1 tsp baking soda (salaeratus)
• 3 eggs
• brandy
• nutmeg

Method

1. 1 Dissolve 1 tsp baking soda in the sour cream.
2. 2 Combine flour, sugar, melted butter, eggs, and the sour cream mixture.
3. 3 Season with brandy and nutmeg, then mix well.
4. 4 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) as you would pound cake.
