Brandy Nutmeg Sour Cream Pound Cake
Ingredients
- 4 cups flour
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 cup melted butter
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp baking soda (salaeratus)
- 3 eggs
- brandy
- nutmeg
Method
- 1 Dissolve 1 tsp baking soda in the sour cream.
- 2 Combine flour, sugar, melted butter, eggs, and the sour cream mixture.
- 3 Season with brandy and nutmeg, then mix well.
- 4 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) as you would pound cake.
