Brandy Fried Apples
Ingredients
- large pippin apples, cored and sliced
- brandy
- lemon juice
- powdered sugar
- flour
- butter
- loaf sugar, grated
Method
- 1 Mix brandy, lemon juice, and powdered sugar in a deep dish. Soak apple slices in the mixture for several hours, then drain.
- 2 Dip each drained apple slice in flour. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
- 3 Fry the apple slices in the butter until golden brown on both sides.
- 4 Transfer to a serving dish and grate loaf sugar over the top before serving.
