Brandy Fried Apples

Ingredients

  • large pippin apples, cored and sliced
  • brandy
  • lemon juice
  • powdered sugar
  • flour
  • butter
  • loaf sugar, grated

Method

  1. 1 Mix brandy, lemon juice, and powdered sugar in a deep dish. Soak apple slices in the mixture for several hours, then drain.
  2. 2 Dip each drained apple slice in flour. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
  3. 3 Fry the apple slices in the butter until golden brown on both sides.
  4. 4 Transfer to a serving dish and grate loaf sugar over the top before serving.
